We are proud to serve slow food that is 100% natural, responsibly sourced with no artificial ingredients. Not only do we offer vegetarian options but most of our menu is gluten-free.

We love our meat purveyors: Boulder Valley, Creekstone Farms, Niman Ranch, Good Nature, Mary’s Chicken, Jidori, Cedar River Ranch, and Six Point Berkshire.

Your food will arrive to your table as it is ready to ensure it is perfect the moment you receive it and to encourage sharing.

Daily, we juice fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs for our agua frescas. Other beverages options include fresh coconuts tapped with a straw and Mexican sodas like Jarritos, Topo Chico and Coca-Cola.

Call ahead for take-out. Large to-go orders should be placed at least 2 hours before pick-up time.

Catering is available — we prefer to come to your event and cook onsite. We are available for events ranging from intimate dinner parties to receptions of 200+.

History
Escuela Taqueria was founded in 2011 by Steven Arroyo in a small space on Stanley Avenue. In 2012, Escuela expanded into the former space of Cobras and Matadors (also Arroyo’s) on Beverly. Since then, the menu has grown from our original list of tacos and sides to include burritos, salads, and entrees.
